J.Santino

Jason Santino professionally known as J.Santino is a Singer/Songwriter born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. His eccentric style makes him a strong contender in the Michigan music scene. His musical and life inspirations include Mariah Carey, Sam Smith, Azaelia Banks, Madonna, and LGBTQ+ Ballroom scene. These inspirations allow J.Santino to create high-energy moments on stage reminiscent of Cirque De Soleil.

His debut EP (As We Go released 2019) has been praised in various media outlets such as Medium, and Resurget Mag. His song “As We Go” from the eponymous EP has been featured on a national Trident Gum commercial, as well as featured on the NBC show “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” and he has also been a featured artist in Footlockers #SoPrideLive Campaign. Which is a campaign highlighting hot LGBTQ+ talent. In addition he recently won the Detroit choice Award for Favorite up and coming artist!

He has performed all over with notable headlining shows such as Detroit’s Motor City Pride, West Hartford Pride Festival in West Hartford Connecticut, The Dam Jam Music Festival in Lansing. In addition he has performed at The Royal Oak Ford Arts, Beats & Eats Ypsilanti Pride, Sang with the Kanye West Sunday Service Choir, Opened up for Domonique Jackson of the FX series POSE, and many more. 

Along with his music, J.Santino is an activist having partnered with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on various campaigns to bring awareness to sexual health within the LGBTQ+ community. 

He most recently released his single Ride For You which has been receiving airplay on radio stations in Detroit, California, and has been included on Detroit’s most influential station 107.5 Hip Hop Detroit.
